Three days of energy recovery and well-being immersed in an enchanted nature for a creative encounter between pilates and yoga.

Yoga and pilates, two disciplines with important meeting points and differences for a dynamic discovery experience.

Both include movements and postures aimed at increasing strength, flexibility and the connection between mind and body. Yoga, however, focuses more on mental wellbeing and sensations, while Pilates is mostly aimed at toning the body and improving posture and movements.

Two days of pause breaks from the unstoppable flow of noise, pollution, tension, typical of modern life, to regain mental balance and emotion, inner harmony through silence.

Silence has great power, in the absence of noise there is an inner reset that emphasizes our sensitivity. Without listening and speaking, the brain waves slow down, preparing the mind to encounter images, smells and tastes in a new way. All the sensory material is assembled in a non-logical but affective order. Thanks to them, to their essential rigor, to the Benedictine “rule”, so simple but at the same time so full of meaning, thanks to the ora et labora (pray and work) that, even today, the monks mark their day, with an always the same ritual that represents an example of routine towards serenity

The return to this simplicity, to this profound authenticity is the theme of the “Monk’s Path”, “designed” for people or groups who really want to have a “detachment” from their own existence, who aspire to have a moment to understand and understand each other, feel and feel, “reposition” and start again towards the realization of new goals.

PRAY AND WORK . THE PATH OF MONACO PROGRAM

Based on the calibrated alternation of meditation and common work, in full harmony with nature, it allows you to act on all aspects of the person (body, mind and emotions) in order to get back in touch with one’s history, one’s senses, one’s own deep emotions, one’s own intuitive abilities, the harmony of nature and creation.

Duration: proposals from 2 or 4 days – It is possible to build customized itineraries for specific needs

6.30 am The morning alarm – A touch on everyone’s door represents the morning alarm The monk must get up “without delay at the signal given”

7.00 – 8.00 – Matins: Morning Prayer “Reconnect to oneself”: meditation practice through the body and energizing breathing. Conclusion with a common song

8.00 – 8.30 – Basic breakfast, simple with basic products of the earth

8.30 – 12.00 – Daily work. The practice of ergotherapy, or manual and agricultural work as a “therapy”, as a “cure” and as a tool to “take root” again in the earth and its power. Through collective physical manual work, the sense of the needs of the “convent”, of the community is also recovered and skills, senses and mind are stimulated.

A person’s body-mind-spirit system can be compared to the mechanism of a clock. Everything works well when it is well lubricated, when everything moves in harmony. If even a small screw comes off, the mechanism jams and the clock stops working.

The hectic life, incorrect nutrition, stress, emotional excesses, fear, sadness, conflicts lead to blocking the harmonic mechanism of existence. The body tends to weaken and get sick, to be pervaded by that sense of permanent physical and psychological discomfort, heaviness, fatigue of living that often results in physical pain. It is necessary to return to inner peace, for the body to set in motion its self-healing mechanisms as the first step towards happiness and holistic well-being
